Thanksgiving 2009

2009-11-29 10:39 - General

I had a gentle and relaxed Thanksgiving this year. Took the train out to New Jersey to see my Mom on Wednesday. On Friday we came back to Brooklyn to relieve my cats, who had spent a couple days on their own. On Saturday, we went out to the Brooklyn Museum of Art. That's about it. Below is a gallery of some of the stuff we saw.

Dawn in the Woods in Springtime and Sunset in Autumn Woods (Tiffany, 1905). Top section of a water jug, northern Iraq or Syria, late 12th-early 13th century. Tomb guardian, Korea, 18th century. Blue glass bowl (unknown, I missed taking notes). Bowl (unknown, I missed taking notes). Dragon, (unknown, I missed taking notes). Duck, (unknown, I missed taking notes). Glass sculpture, (unknown, I missed taking notes). Jug, (unknown, I missed taking notes). Sandy sculpture, (unknown, I missed taking notes). Ceremonial torch, (unknown, I missed taking notes).
