Just finished "God of War" (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_of_War_%28video_game%29 ) the original, but via the compilation/port for PS3. Not completely my kind of game, but very well done, I enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed that there were
no compromises made in the way of "video games are for kids". Blood, gore, violence, even nudity. The novelty of that alone puts it into its own class, regardless of the merits or faults of it itself. The story was even told rather well in the cut scenes, and to a certain extent, the game itself.
